The UK's Leading Service Integrator

Having emerged from the days when installing a coaxial cabled LAN around a client's office was considered advanced technology and providing clients with PIN codes to make call savings on their international calls was the norm, Datatel Networks are now recognised as the UK's leading Service Integrator. No surprise really when you add up the wide ranging services we offer our clients, all of which are hosted and/or enabled by the world's leading voice and data communications companies. We believe that remaining as an independent Service Integrator has been the key to our success over the years, as "Cherry Picking" the best services from our suppliers' vast product ranges allows us to deliver to our clients only the services they need and for only as long as they need them. Below is shortlist of a few of our main suppliers, along with an explanation of some of their services we offer to our customers :-

 - BT (British Telecommunications)
2009 marks a 8 year anniversary for Datatel Networks as a provider of BT Services to UK business customers. Indeed, Datatel are very proud to have not only been one of the first "BT Calls and Access" companies, but also, to have been chosen by BT Group on three separate occasions during 2001 to 2004 to be one of their product triallists: Assisting BT Wholesale in preparatory automation of service provider interfacing with BT back office robotics in the bringing to market of the ISDN2, Multiline Auxiliary and ISDN30 Wholesale Access product lines for today's BT Openreach communication providers. Datatel were also one of the founder members of the FSPA (Fixed Service Provider Association), formed in September 2002 from CAIG (the Calls and Access Interest Group), which had been representing Service Provider interests since 2000 and had successfully improved prices and services for British Telecom's Calls and Access products.

Today, Datatel can either provide your firm with new BT network copper, fibre circuits or microwave deliveries on a directly connected BT Retail managed service basis, or, as a result of the "Calls & Access" and "Wholesale Access" service provider agreements we hold with BT Openreach, take over your current BT Retail managed services, without moving them off the BT network. Alternatively, if your existing services are provided via another carrier's network, for example NTL, Telewest, Verizon, Kingston etc., we can migrate them onto the BT network, porting or novating (retaining) your existing circuits' service numbers.

When you are a Datatel BT "Calls & Access / Wholesale Access" customer, BT Group’s 34,000+ engineers are still responsible for maintaining and repairing your circuits. However, rather than calling BT directly, you call our 0800 number for any moves, adds, changes, fault reports or general inquiries relating to your BT services, and, our UK based customer services department is both "Voice Mail" and "Auto Attendant" free (so, no playing push button, as is the case when you call BT Retail). Our fault reporting team have access onto BT's systems to "R.I.F.E.T.S" (remote interface front end test services) your circuits before contacting the BT Engineers to log your circuit fault with them. However, prior to sending a BT Engineer to your site, it is our policy to contact your equipment maintainer first, to discuss the nature of your circuit's fault with them, and eliminate any routing equipment that may be it's cause.

All your services' activities are logged onto our SQL Server and integrated into fully itemised management reports, which we tailor make as per your requirements, so that both costs and usage can be clearly identified. Typically, your inbound, outbound, point to point and point to multipoint service activities are broken down by type and then split into subsidiary, branch, department or user sections. And when we email your management reports to you a copy of each section's report is also emailed to your relevant department's managers.
