callers are not kept waiting, a timetable can be established to determine
when calls overflow to another extension or group of extensions.

KX-TA1232
- The Panasonic KX-TA1232 analogue may be the right system for you, if you
are in need of a great system, but don't require all the advanced features
associated with the digital systems. It comes configured for 8 CO lines by
16 stations, and is expandable to 12 CO lines by 32 stations. It
coordinates the use of up to 12 CO lines and 32 extensions and the system
can be used with system telephones (analogue) or single line telephones (SLT)
and even the Panasonic cordless models KX-T7880, KX-T7885, KX-TD7894, and
KX-TD7895.
System features are as follows :-
Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) for cost control and system
management, Non-blocking, programmable system features and operation
modes, Caller ID, Call Waiting, system administration and diagnostics
capabilities, Direct Inward System Access (DISA) (allows outside callers
to access the KX-TA1232), auto CO line hunt, 8-class toll restriction,
3-Way Conference Calling, and up to 4 Doorphones/Openers.
KX-TA624-4
- The Panasonic KX-TA624-4 is the most practical choice for a larger size
residence or smaller business in need of a great analogue phone system, as
it is capable of supporting up to 6 CO lines and 24 stations.
System features are as follows :-
- Emergency Dial
The number of digits that can be programmed for Emergency Calls has been
increased from 11 digits to 24 digits.
- Programming Password
In previous versions of software, the password to prevent unauthorised
access to system programming was 4 digits. In this new level of software,
the password has been increased to seven digits. Thus, you now have the
option to assign a minimum of 4 digits as a system password with up to a
maximum of 7 digits as a further level of security.
- Call Log
In previous system versions, Caller ID information was automatically
logged, only when a call was not answered. If you answered the call, the
call would not be logged. On the KX-TA624-4, the station user has the
option to log the call after it's answered. To set an extension to log
answered calls, the station used must go off hook and dial a four-digit
code followed by "#". The system will send a confirmation tone to notify
the user that the logging is set. There are two codes for this new
function - 7381# logs the calls in the station users Personal Log area and
7382# logs calls into the System Common Log area. You can log calls into
both areas by setting each log are individually using the same procedure
and codes noted above. To cancel logging in either area, the station user
must go off hook, dial 7380#. Logging calls you have answered is very
useful. If for example, there is a situation where you misplaced a
caller's telephone number, you can simply retrieve the caller's number by
checking the log. (Please note this feature requires subscription to
Caller ID service provided by the local telephone company, in addition you
must install a caller id card).
Additional features :-
Proprietary Cordless Phone Integration and Single Line Device Integration
allows you to connect answering machines, cordless phones, fax machines
and modems without additional cards or wiring. DISA with Fax Detection and
OGM 3 provides callers with single-digit access to extensions or ring
groups. A Panasonic KX-TA624 may also detect CNG tones from incoming fax
calls and automatically transfers them to the designated fax extension.
The KX-TA624-4 is also capable of Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR),
Call Restriction, Automatic Redial, 4 Door Intercom & 4 Door Opener
Interface, and Day/Night/Lunch Service.
Any unused station port may be used to connect analogue SLT devices such as
a modems, fax machines, or cordless phones. All KX-T7000, KX-T7100,
KX-T7300, and KX-T7700 Series Telephone are compatible with the KX-TA624-4
